"Reach Out and Touch Me" is a playful and provocative ceramic sculpture series by Carolina Pérez Moreno, exploring the intersection of perception, texture, and emotional response. Through two unique pieces—one evoking the natural structure of a sea urchin and the other resembling a lotus flower—Carolina casts parts of her own body to create forms that challenge societal taboos, exploring what is often hidden yet inherently human. This series invites viewers to question their perceptions of beauty and the discomfort provoked by certain textures and shapes.
